Google plans to maintain smartphone lead
Google is prepared to stay at the top of the market when it comes to smartphones and its Android operating system, with Hugo Barra stating that the operating giant is ready to produce a new line of tablets that will blow consumer’s minds.
Although Google is temporarily only offering consumers’ mobile phones via the Android OS soon the chief executive of the company Eric Schmidt announced that they will be heading into the tablet market and will be the market leader in both brands. In fact, Schmidt went so far as to call the Android ‘the fastest growing mobile ecosystem.’
At the moment there are approximately three hundred thousand Android mobiles activated every day of the week and over 170 different devices on the market which is one reason that Google has been able to overtake Apple and challenge the mega mobile company quickly.
Another is the fact that they are working hard to snap up the brightest and most promising graduates straight out of university due to the fact that they want excitement and mobile technology is where excitement truly is. Seems to be working out just fine for the county and one can only imagine that their entry into tablets will proceed just as smoothly.
