Spotify launches in the US

Spotify has been quite popular in Europe since its 2008 release, but after a few years of battling for rights and delays the free music streaming service has finally been able to launch in the US where music fans have been eagerly waiting for it. Spotify announced that the release of the product in the US has been a great move for all of those who love music and a great major accomplish for those that the company.

There are three ways that users can access Spotify in the United States for those who want to register and start listening to music now. The free tier like in the UK is open to people that have an invitation and are willing to listen to occasional ads to pay for their free access. The second tier can be purchased for fewer than five dollars and allows users to access all of the content in the free tier only they do not have to worry about listening to any ads. The highest tier is about ten dollars and allows for offline listening mode and use on cell phones or any other mobile device making it a truly versatile music streaming tool.
